Skillaz Time Tome 1 : To the Elite (8)

Romu is now able to run longer and to pass every usefull shortcuts.
It is time to skill the rest of the goals fixed for the year...
Harrased after the comp, it was time to doing it slow. Romu continued slaying to get combat experience and of course farming.
A brief look in bank scared him : poh guilded altar and fury amulet had broke his pile of gp. Opportunities to get nice amount of seeds also dig in the gp pile.
Romu had to finaly alch all those items sleeping in that bank : a couple of k yews and 3.5k gold bracelet. This also was occasion to use the 4 pouches in abyss for nature runecrafting : still not the best but definetly faster.
After he got a smal stock of nats he met Puborcist, working on 99 craft (wow) and then often selling alchs. This was just like the current theme... and it pushed romu to 87 mage : enchant onyx ftw.
Back to goals : being a skilla is 1600 overall. And 1600 overall mean 70 in all skill. Romu had to work on both herblore and prayer.
Jagex update on infitine stock of vials helped again romu for herblore. If getting herbs is a strong part of it, getting seconds is also possible. Vials also rules the herby progress if you makes valuable pots and don't have perm buyer.
Romu had also been lucky with some friends paying for his help in high herbs they couldn't use. This way, romu went to ending 69 herblore real fast. The longer he spent was gathering limps at cockatrices. Thanks Duradel and his often missions to abberant specters, Romu was filled with ladantines. Getting 69 was good for making the nice antifire potions.
Now ending the 70 herblore is hardest as romu has no more banked herbs. Farm plan is still on ending the marrentil seed stock (keeping weeds for prayer on altar). He continued slaying and Duradel comprehensively continued giving him aberrant mission. To complete the herb need, romu also use his 83 thieving for fast gathering at chaos druids in yanille agility dungeon. Picklocking the door makes banking operation so fast... And it came, Woot ! one more 70+.
Now, he comes the last one : 67->70 prayer. As a safer character, romu was scared by dragons. His attemp on wild green is still in his mind : forced to rapid tele by a pker.
He then started with baby blue dragons as he is not a ranger in mind.
During this, a guys died, romu looted him and waited a moment for him to be back... nobody came. What whas that : bone crossbow, bone bolts...
Romu tested and wow : nice 15 hits on blue drags. After some readings WOW : only 4 gp ea and stackable ! A few math later the prayer plan changed. As many ppl wer complaining on forums, romu decided to use a part of his gps into 500k bone bolts.
Yanille again : Ogre caves blue dragons with safe spots were waiting for him. It was also time to use his nice ranger set, fury and Ava accumulator. First evening there : 100 kills. Romu also brougt rune xrossbow and grapple for the shortcup over Yanille wall. That make banking every 10 kills... Leaving the rune crossbow in bank and simply using the bone one add to dropping the 5 steels arrows from accumulator enabled 11-12 kills per trip. Rapidly, romu also understood he could use 2 dragon spot, running between safe spots was faster than wainting for respawn. That was even more faster.
Mellee test went bad. Even if romu was faster, he brought super str in place of antifire pot... Addy arrows are also faster but romu prefered keeping it for most valuable black dragons.
Thas way romu got bones to 69 Prayer in few days and reached 79 range. The coins dropped confortably payed back the 40-60 bone bolts used per trip : that was free from charge experience and romu was fine. Paying 70 prayer was out of his plan.
By the way, getting all those dragon hides provided a nice amount of needed money. one more reason to plan spending hours in that cave.
Ranging there is rapidly boring. Romu was about to go and buy the remaining bones with the hide money when Puborcist came again for a help : taning hide.
This was a good idea to go help a nice person to get a nice achievment surch as 99 crafting. And why help few when you can really help... Romu took the max hide he could and start the "Puborcist own sweet store game".
It is simple : you get hide and gp, walk from bank to Ellis and back. When you have enough tanned hides, you trade Puborcist back and so on...
The other fun thing : as a very high player, his help message and the reward for the jobs drained many players helping him. And we started being like those f2p lvl 3 bots : about 10-15 players runing at Al Kharid. Suddenly a player mod came in and we all had a nice laughing part... She was aksed not to repport the army Puborcist summoned there. She had to notice the 100 combat lvls we had over the habitual bots. :P
Thank you ! Puborcist for the distraction. First, you pay well for simply walking there for hours. But i know you would have lost more in doing it by yourself.
It also have tought me the best way to get that very high levels in crafting.
It also made me fell like the good old days i was f2p and worked hard for p2p friends to get money. Things only changed in scale.

Still opportunist, romu bought again some alchs and finally achived another goal. One more time romu could see his gp stock in green letters now written in millions wich mean : HEALTHY.

Pround of it, he decided to have an evening to share ! He found Llibenau and Ferretsrock0 hunting... in fact a big part of the can met on their spot to push out a pure. Yes a pure... boring player. Our ingenious leaders did a laughing thing to chase him away : he simply wasn't able to lay a single box on the spot. Romu fall amazed buy surch an elegent way to block a boring person. He could see the talent of our leaders in team spirit, RS knowledge and diplomatie. He now check my blackmark as our boring player promiced to repport us all.
After that, romu intended to share knowledge with those two future high hunter skillaz...

After all those distractions, romu went back to the blue dragons of Ogre enclave to get this last 70 level : Prayer (and Piety)
